The Food Celebrant Story
Sarah Moore, founder of The Food Celebrant, started her career 25-years ago catering to the music and film industry. One of the first wave of artisan and ethical caterers, she developed her style of cooking through sourcing high quality, seasonal ingredients, expressing the richness of Britain’s food culture. In 2016 she completed a MA in Food Anthropology at SOAS, The University of London, focusing on expressions of funeral food. Her research focused on the food served at the banquets of Ghanaian funeral celebrations.
